SUMMARY:The Street Project Film Screening and Discussion
DESCRIPTION:“The Street Project” uncovers the truth about a troubling trend: more and more people walking and bicycling are being seriously injured or killed on American roads. The filmmakers engage experts including street historian Peter Norton\, city planner Jeff Speck\, and urban design expert Mikael Colville-Andersen whose interviews are interwoven with the stories of local champions working to make their communities safer. “The Street Project” is a film that takes viewers on a global journey to discover a better way of doing things. \n\n\n\n\nPlease join us for a film screening and discussion on Tuesday\, February 6\, 2024\, from 4 to 6 pm. There will be a moderated discussion with panelists and participants following the screening. Registration is free\, but seats are limited. Light refreshments will be served. \nThis event is co-sponsored by the American Planning Association – New Jersey Chapter (APA-NJ) and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy with support from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) through the New Jersey Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource Center at the Alan M.
