SUMMARY:Undergraduate Pre-major Advising Session
DESCRIPTION:Pre-major advising sessions give interested students an opportunity to learn about the undergraduate program offerings at the Bloustein School. There is an overview of each major\, minor\, and certificate program\, including the admissions criteria and application processes for current and prospective Rutgers students. Students are encouraged to bring questions. The host advisor(s) will answer them or refer the student to the appropriate department/office. \n\n\n\nThese sessions are open to current Rutgers University students who are interested in declaring a Bloustein School major. \nStudents should have the following: \n\n One or more completed semesters at Rutgers with a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA.\n A final grade of C or higher or AP credits for College Writing – 01:355:101 (or equivalent)\n\nAttendance at the session will be used to confirm your engagement with our Office of Student and Academic Services\, which is required to declare a Bloustein School major. Cameras must be on. \nUpdate the Zoom app in advance. There will be a 5-minute grace period to enter the meeting after the start time. \nREGISTER HERE

DESCRIPTION:The lecture series “Introduction to Urban Planning & Design” is made possible by a Rutgers Teaching Enhancement Grant from the Vice Provost for Experiential Learning awarded to Assistant Professor Carmelo Ignaccolo. \nThis week\, the speaker is Einat Lubliner\, Senior Urban Designer\, Bjarke Ingels Group. \nThe series will feature an incredible lineup of speakers from public agencies\, design NGOs\, leading design firms\, and international organizations. It is open to both undergraduate and graduate students and will also include a spring class site visit with AECOM’s Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Studio to their award-winning climate-resilient parks in Newark and Lower Manhattan. \nEach event is open to the public\, subject to seat availability. \n
