The Green Seam project was one of six in Somerset County to be named a recipient of the 36th Annual Land Development and Planning Awards.
“Each year, the Board of Freeholders presents awards for projects that exemplify superior site design, address contemporary planning issues, or exert a positive influence on the character of the county,” said Freeholder Brian G. Gallagher, planning liaison and former mayor of Somerville.

BOUND BROOK AND SOUTH BOUND BROOK, NEW JERSEY PEDESTRIAN BICYCLE TRAVEL PLAN, Bound Brook and South Bound Brook
The Bound Brook and South Bound Brook Pedestrian and Bicycle Travel Plan takes a comprehensive look at safe routes to school in both boroughs. The plan was prepared by the Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Support was provided by RideWise, Project for Public Spaces, Rutgers 4-H Cooperative Extension, Middle Earth, Michael Baker International, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Bound Brook and South Bound Brook, and the Somerset County Planning Board.
