The panel will explore the key challenges and opportunities involved in scaling energy efficiency in New York’s building sector from policy and technology to market integration and implementation.

The forum is part of the German Export Initiative for Energy Solutions, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). It brings together eight innovative German companies specializing in energy efficiency in buildings, smart building technologies, ventilation systems, digital energy management, electrification, engineering, and sustainable building solutions.

Throughout the half-day program, German and U.S. experts, industry leaders, policymakers, building owners, developers, utilities, and clean energy stakeholders will exchange insights on practical strategies for reducing building emissions, improving energy performance, and accelerating the transition to a more sustainable built environment.
