Matthew Rivera (MHA ’25) Wins ACHE Student Associate Award

The American College of Healthcare Executives recognizes outstanding healthcare leaders who have made a significant impact on our community. These awards celebrate excellence in healthcare leadership, dedication to improving patient outcomes, and commitment to advancing our field.

The 2024 ACHE Regent Student Associate Award Recipient was Bloustein MHA student Matthew Rivera!

Matthew Rivera has distinguished himself in leadership roles and assisting others in their professional advancement. He was selected to participate in the ACHE 2024 Congress as a Program Assistant, where he paid his way to Chicago and is a member of the ACHE-NJ Membership Committee. He also serves as the Academic Chair for the MHA student organization Graduate Society of Healthcare Leaders (Rutgers GSHL) and the Health Administration Vice President for the Bloustein Graduate Student Association (BGSA). Following his advocacy, Matthew is installed as the first student associate to serve on the newly expanded Board of Directors of ACHE-NJ.

Matthew stated, “I’m looking forward to continuing my dedication and passion to the healthcare industry, as well as my commitment and participation in ACHE-NJ.” The awards were presented at the 2024 Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner on December 9, 2024 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
