Bloustein student presents at Council for Undergraduate Research conference

breannaBreanna Brock (public health major, class of 2017) presented her paper “Racial Discrimination, Racism-Related Coping Strategies, and Mental Health among African Americans” at the Council for Undergraduate Research’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates Conference in Arlington, Virginia on October 24. Ms. Brock’s research was supervised by her Project L/EARN faculty mentor, Professor Dawne Mouzon. Their co-author Theresa Simpson earned her BS in public health from the Bloustein School; she is a PTL at the School and was the Project L/EARN summer course instructor for the NSF program “Social Disparities in Health, Health Behaviors, and Access to Health Care” in which Ms. Brock participated. Ms. Brock is currently applying to PhD programs.
