July 18, 2022

Kathy Krepcio, Executive Director and Senior Researcher at the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development, will be retiring on August 31, 2022. For nearly 20 years, Kathy provided outstanding leadership at the Center through her skillful management and deep knowledge of workforce development policy and practice. She led many large and important projects, including programs to assist the economic victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City, research on strategies to help people with disabilities gain employment, and the development and growth of the New Jersey Education to Earnings Data System, which enables the analysis of education and workforce programs across multiple state agencies.

Carl Van Horn, Center Director and Distinguished Professor of Public Policy, commented: “Kathy was central to the success and growth of the Heldrich Center for nearly two decades. She was a mentor to the many professionals who have worked at the Center. I will miss Kathy’s insights, expertise, and passion for the work of the Center.”

“I know that the Heldrich Center will continue to have a positive impact on state and national policy and the improvement of services to job seekers,” Kathy Krepcio said. “I look forward to my retirement but will miss the tremendously dedicated and talented staff and faculty at the Center.”
