Roberto Muñiz, MPA, LNHA, FACHCA, is a Senior Health Administration Fellow and Instructor at the Bloustein School. He is also an adjunct instructor at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Roberto teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels with a focus on health and aging services. He has dedicated his professional career to serving seniors and leading the charge to enhance aging services – challenging, changing, and expanding the idea of what it means to grow older in America.

Roberto is the President and CEO of Parker Health Group, Inc. a not-for-profit, aging services organization that is committed to empowering seniors. Throughout his twenty-five years of leadership, Roberto has grown the organization from two small nursing homes to a full continuum of aging services; providing residential and home and community-based services to thousands of seniors across New Jersey. Roberto proudly helped to establish the Parker Health Group Division of Geriatrics at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2023.

Roberto is a prominent thought leader and currently serves as the Board Chair of LeadingAge, a national organization representing not-for-profit providers in aging services. He has also served on the boards of the Global Ageing Network, American College of Health Care Administrators, NJ Advocates for Aging Well, and New Brunswick Tomorrow. He has previously been a member of both the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging and the NJ Commission of Aging.
