Rutgers GSHL Holds Toy Drive to Benefit Central Jersey Family Health Consortium

December 6, 2023

The Rutgers Graduate Student Healthcare Leaders (Rutgers GSHL) recently hosted a month-long toy drive from November 1-30 at the Bloustein School to benefit the Central Jersey Family Health Consortium, a local organization promoting an equitable and healthy future for families through services, advocacy, education and collaboration.

Accepting toys for ages 0-12, donations included books, rattles, art supplies, blocks, board games, science kits, and craft kits. To organize the donations, Rutgers GSHL also sponsored an evening social gathering on Monday, December 4, where they sorted and organized all of the donations and also created handmade holiday cards.

Almost 400 toys were donated and 39 cards were created, according to Vice President Emily Muha.
