The Rutgers Master of Health Administration program (MHA) program has been ranked #26 in the nation in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings, climbing two spots from last year and continuing a steady rise from #32 in 2024 and #28 in 2025.
“We are incredibly proud to see the Rutgers MHA program reach #26 in the nation, an achievement that reflects the collective commitment of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners,” said Soumitra Bhuyan, PhD, MPH, Associate Professor and Executive Director of Health Administration at the Bloustein School. “This steady upward trajectory over the past few years speaks to the strength of our curriculum, the quality of our students, and our shared commitment to excellence in health administration education.
“While we celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on the road ahead. Our goal is to position Rutgers among the top 10 MHA programs in the nation through intentional, strategic growth. By strengthening our national visibility and continuing to prioritize a student-centered experience grounded in experiential learning, mentorship, and professional development, we will build on this momentum.”
