Vineeta Kapahi named NJPP’s 2019 Katherine Crotty Fellow

June 3, 2019

Congratulations to Vineeta Kapahi, who was been named New Jersey Policy Perspective‘s 2019 Katherine Crotty Fellow. The fellowship honors the legacy of NJPP’s late board chair, Kathleen Crotty, by giving the next generation of New Jersey policy leaders an intensive, paid summer experience in policy analysis and advocacy under the mentorship of NJPP’s experienced staff. Crotty Fellows research and write reports, op-eds, and blog posts and join NJPP analysts in outreach and coalition work.

Currently pursuing graduate studies in public policy and urban planning at the Bloustein School, Vineeta has worked to promote gender, racial, and environmental justice through advocacy, research, and community organizing for over a decade.

She is the Bloustein School’s fourth fellow, following in the footsteps of Amy Dunford (2016), Holly Low (2017), and Jazmyne McNeese (2018).
