Each spring, Rutgers students participate in a variety of Alternative Spring Break Trips – from New Orleans to the Dominican Republic, engaging their hearts and minds in service-learning. For the fifth consecutive year, RHS-H.O.P.E.(Rutgers Health Services -Health Outreach, Promotion and Education) in collaboration with the Bloustein School coordinated the annual Alternative Spring Break trip to Nicaragua to explore public health systems.
